IMG_2553We got to speak with HipHop recording artist Scanlouz Deleon from Merced, California.

Influenced by artist like Tupac, Snoop Dogg, DMX, and More. He’s working towards being the greatest performers from the West Coast.

His grandmother got him started in his career by encouraging him to join the choir in church. He learned how to make his presence known and lay the ground work for his career. His mother is his biggest hero. “The lady has been through hell and back and still rocking. She gets my upmost respect for that.”

IMG_2587He’s performed with recording Artist Too Short and others as apart of the Budweiser Low Rider Tour. Music is his passion and it’s a consistent priority in his life. When we asked him about his thoughts he said, “ I grew up in the 90’s where lyrically I feel we had better content however, in the early 00’s when Hyphy music came out an artist from Oakland, California he brought out a new sub-genre of music using exciting beats with 808s, and more. It is what it is”

If he could collaborate with anyone he would want to collaborate with Nipsey Hussle or Tory Lane. He’s currently working on his debut mixtape ‘Another Day Another Dolla III : The Third Wave.”
